About HoopVerse
Founded in Elgin, Illinois by Coach Andre Blakley, HoopVerse was created to provide young athletes with more than just a place to play basketball. Since its inception almost 10 years ago, the program has focused on skill development, mentorship, character building, and creating opportunities for youth to grow both on and off the court. As the program continues to evolve, HoopVerse is entering a new chapter in Chicago under the leadership of Coach Jermaine Richardson, who previously served as an assistant within the program. Building upon the foundation established by Coach Blakley, HoopVerse remains committed to developing confident athletes, strong leaders, and responsible young men and women through the game of basketball. At HoopVerse, basketball is the vehicle, but mentorship, personal growth, leadership, and community are the mission.
